Alex and Abby's Unforgettable Michigan Summer Wedding at Gross Pointe Yacht Club
On a perfect summer day over Memorial weekend, Alex and Abby celebrated their love in a stunning Michigan wedding at the Grosse Pointe Yacht Club. This Detroit wedding was a blend of tradition, elegance, and unforgettable moments.
A match made in heaven. It was our honor to be part of it.
The day began at Alex's childhood home, where he and his groomsmen donned light-blue suits, perfect for a yacht club wedding. Meanwhile, Abby and her bridesmaids prepared at the yacht club, slipping into classy blue dresses after a morning in their robes.
The first look was a moment of pure joy and anticipation. One of the favorite moments at weddings.
Alex and his groomsmen were reminiscent of a scene from The Godfather, exuding an air of sophistication and camaraderie.
Abby and her bridesmaids posed for Vogue-style photos, their elegance and style shining through in every shot.
This amazing Bride and Groom at this Yacht Club. Just perfect. Alex and Abby's photos were nothing short of cinematic. Think 'The Notebook' meets 'James Bond'. Gorgeous and classy.
The outdoor ceremony at the yacht club was perfect. Set against the backdrop of Lake Sinclair on a beautiful sunny day in Michigan, with live music and some of the best wedding vows we've heard, it was a moment to remember.
The reception setting was straight out of a magazine. Decorated with candles, lemons, and photos of their travels, it was a testament to their journey together. The cake cutting was a thing of beauty.
The reception was filled with heartfelt speeches that could rival any Oscar acceptance speech and a lovely first dance. And some dancing that would put 'Dancing with the Stars' contestants to shame.
A perfect day. A perfect wedding. A perfect couple.
The day ended with a beautiful sunset photo, a perfect ending to a perfect Summer Michigan wedding. And by perfect, I mean the kind of sunset that makes you want to drop everything and become a Detroit wedding photographer. Thankful to be one.
